It's an experience. Honor system with the beer cooler, never seen that before. Food is good and reasonably fast "service". Once seated you get a score card (like the self service beer) you fill it out and then they take it. There really isn't a waiter in the modern sense and yet their system has worked since 1929.

Here you won’t find a hostess and you won’t find a dress code that requires a suit and tie. What you will find is friendly locals in tank tops and flip flops. We’re known for our casual dining atmosphere, our wonderful food, and friendly service.
When you get here, just grab a seat and get a drink from the cooler! Then, find a waitress and let her know what you want to eat. We promise when you leave you’ll be asking yourself why you haven’t visited before!
